JEAN NEILSON
On Sunday, March 10, our pet community lost a special friend ~ Jean Neilson of The Canadian Cats, home to Shoko and Tyebe, and her Angel kitties Budd and Kali. Jean had blogged for nearly ten-years, until in May of 2022, her dear husband of 50-years, Bill posted that due to her declining health from a stroke, Jean could no longer publish on her blog. She had always been a creative delight to so many ~ participating in every event with humor and energy. Famous for her recipes, her garden tips, and oh yes, her love of tea! And so proud of her beautiful Prince George, British Columbia ... and those adorable cats!
We send our heartfelt sympathy to Bill now on his loss of Jean, our friend, this beautiful and kind woman, may she rest peacefully, forever.

I always visited Jean and the Cats on Sundays and it was a joy to see the cats every week. People like Jean made (and continue to make) the world a happier place.
This loss hit me particularly hard. Jean and I bonded over our mutual experience over epilepsy. Jean was such a gentle soul, kind, and clever. She will be sorely missed. We sent her husband Bill our personal condolences and share our thoughts of comfort with all who knew her and her adorable kitties. Rest in peace, friend. I am so sorry for the passing of your beautiful Jean. She was a wonderful wife and cat mom.
I was very touched to receive you card telling me that you would be using the copy of Crotchey Cougar Mouse Pad and the memories from Angel Madi's fun with them, in Jean's celebration of life. As you mentioned she was such a talented blogger and friend
