SUE SEHI-SMITH
An extraordinary woman, compassionate, giving, loving, has traded her earthly angel wings for heavenly ones. In June of 2005, Sue Sehi-Smith began to share with us the White Dog Army and it is not possible to say how many dogs were held in her arms, how many felt her love, and
came through the doors of the home she and Steve shared in the years since. Their stories were told on the White Dog Blog, whether of hardship or joy, and Sue treated each and every one equally. It is hard to think there will ever be another like her who gave so much, who cared so deeply.
May you rest well forever, Sue, and may your beloved Steve be at peace with memories of your times together.

From miles across the country Sue and I became friends through her blog and then Facebook. She and Steve were and are wonderfully supportive friends who always share their love with everyone in the rescue community. Sue and I also discovered many similarities in our childhoods which made our friendship even closer. Sue gave so much in her life to her WDA, her blog, her Paws to People, her friends, her activism regarding racism, hunger, equal rights for all and her Steve. I don't think there will ever be another with her boundless love and compassion. All of my love to Steve and their White Dog Army. I will miss you forever dearest Sue. Becky

There isn't a day that goes by that we don't remember Sue and all the joy she brought to those who loved her.
Sue was such a special friend to so many, including us. The world has certainly lost some light with her passing. We will never, ever forget her.
I didn't know Sue, but she sounds like she was a wonderful lady.
